Hi! We are T1TI,

Type 1 Together Initiative is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to nurturing an inclusive and supportive community for youth grappling with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). Our core mission is to extend comprehensive educational and support services to not only those directly impacted by T1D, but also to their families and caregivers. We aim to empower each member of our community to overcome the hurdles presented by T1D and lead fulfilling lives.

 

Our initiatives span a diverse range of activities:

• We offer T1D awareness and education programs tailored to meet the needs of families seeking guidance and support on their T1D journey.

• We advocate for insulin affordability to ensure that individuals living with T1D have access to life-saving medication without financial barriers.

• We gather and disseminate information about ongoing T1D studies and clinical trials, ensuring our community stays informed and empowered to contribute to advancements in the field.

• We organize and attend both local and remote T1D events, providing a nurturing environment for community engagement and support.

• We lead fundraising efforts to support T1D research, driving innovation and progress in understanding and managing the condition.

• We lead a dedicated team in developing an AI-powered app for personalized glucose management, harnessing the potential of technology to enhance quality of life for individuals living with T1D.

 

Through our multifaceted approach, we endeavor to cultivate a vibrant and resilient community where individuals impacted by T1D can find solace, support, and empowerment. We are committed to walking alongside our community members on their journey towards optimal health and well-being, ensuring they thrive in every aspect of their lives despite the challenges posed by T1D.
